You will need to register an account (HighStreet 5 Passport) to play HighStreet 5. The passport allows you to play the game, enter the forums and shop at the online store. Fill in your personal details and remember to check for the confirmation e-mail after submitting the application form.

After installing the game, click on the HighStreet 5 icon to bring up the Client Menu. Select your server and click on “Enter” to enter HighStreet 5. Your game will automatically update if it is not the latest version; in this case, please wait for the update to complete before proceeding.

Once inside HighStreet 5, log in with your HS5 Passport details and play!

Create your HighStreet 5 character -- decide on a name and customize various physical features like height, size as well as the character's zodiac sign. Press <Char Creation> to begin HighStreet 5 with your character, where you will start off with a beginner's tutorial (which can be skipped) and then are free to explore the world of HighStreet 5.

We highly recommend those new to HighStreet 5 to read the next section <How to Play> to learn how to play the game, which includes the dance controls, navigating the map, shopping and so forth.

Most locations on the map are dance halls, choose any one of them like The Abyss or Ginza to start dancing! These halls are also social hubs, so check the website often for news on events like dance competitions, riddle-guessing, speed dating and dance guild meetings.

Fashion is a big part of life in HighStreet 5, and you can head to the Mall to dress your character and the Salon to change your hairstyle. Clothing items are purchased with time-limits and come in three types: 7-days, 30-days or Forever for permanent ownership, each with different price points.

Socialize freely and make friends in HighStreet 5! Join or create your own dance guild and hang out with your guild members. Don’t forget to video-chat with other players; there is also a specialized Video-Chat dance hall for players to mingle in freely!
