If you are using or planning to use the Windows Vista operating system to play HighStreet 5, note that because Vista protects the operating system hard drive, this may stop HS5 from updating. To play HS5, please take note of the following instructions:
//
Vista Hard Drive Installation
Please do not install HighStreet 5 on the same hard drive partition that your Windows Vista is currently installed on. For example, if Vista is installed on your C:\ , please install HighStreet 5 on another partition or hard drive like D:\ , E:\ and so forth.
// Windows Vista User Privilege Limitation
Please set your current user to have Administrator privileges while installing and playing HighStreet 5. You can do this by accessing the "Control Panel” and then click on “User Accounts” and then editing the details here.
// During Installation
After downloading the HighStreet 5 installation package, click on the icon to run the install. Your Vista machine may take a long time to process this command, please wait patiently for up to 3 minutes.
After this wait, a window will appear in Windows Vista saying “An unidentified program wants access to your computer”. Click on “Allow” to continue with the installation of HighStreet 5.
